Multi-faceted technology lover with a passion for people.
Curiosity in people and the world has driven me to the internet, where it is in an unprecedented way changing the face of society. I enjoy understanding how systems function: from the technical side of a compiler, or modern web application infrastructure to how people function in groups (offline and online). As such, I always like learning new things.
I studied computer science, socio-informatics, business and marketing in undergrad. From there I went further with socio-informatics, passing it with cum-laude in 2011. I'm currently pursuing a masters degree in Socio-Informatics at Stellenbosch University through the help of the prestigious MIH Media Lab
, studying information overload and its coping strategies on microblogging services.
